Hello ! My name is Arthur Desmarteaux and I’m a young visual artist from Montréal, Canada. On this website you will be able to see some reproductions of the works I did in the past few years. If you have any questions or suggestions, I invite you to write an e-mail to me and it’s gonna be a pleasure to answer you. You can also leave messages in the guestbook.
For those of you who are wondering why I use a pseudonym, I would answer that it is because I want to stay anonymus in front of my creations of good taste (which are frightening me sometimes) and also because it brings a mysterious aura around the artist and his work.
You can consider me as a pure neo-schtroumphist. For now I am the only member of that new art current that is the neo-schtrouphism, but you have to know that newcomers are always warmly welcomed in this current that is privileging the collective work. To know more about the processes that leads to my paintings, you can read my artist statement..
If you want to buy my artwork, you can send me a message at this
